ENG: Both are my painted with acrylics over canvas. For the second one, Sirena, I used pices of an old book over the canvas, and I also used a knife for painting some part of the picture. It is the first time I paint with a knife.

ESP: Ambos cuadros son pintados con acrilicos sobre lienzo. Para el cuadro de la Sirena, use pedacitos de un libro viejo sobre el lienzo, y ademas pitne algunas partes del cuadro haciendo uso de la espatula. Es la primera vez que pinto con espatula.

These are some of my drawings in my sketch book. They were made with pencil, colors, and markers.

Estos son algunosd e mis dibujos de mi cuaderno de practica. Fueron hechos con lapiz, colores y marcadores.

AT THE STUDIO

This is a sample of the mixed media work. I usually work with clay for making the tress, acrylics, markers, wood, old paper and image transfers. Some of them took me from 2 to 3 months to finish them, But at the end all the time and patience was worth it.

Esta es una muestra de mi trabajo de mixed media. Generalmente uso arcilla para hacer lso arbole, pinturas acrilicas, marcadores, madera, papel viejo y transferencias de imagen. Algunos de estos trabajos me tomaron de unos 2 a 3 meses para terminarlos, pero al final toda el tiempo y la paciencia valio la pena.

ARTIST TRADING CARDS

ARTIST TRADING CARDS

They are miniature works of art created on 2 ½ X 3 ½ inch or 64 X 89 mm card stock.
They are originals, small editions and, most importantly, self-produced. anybody can produce them.
The idea is that you trade them with other people who produce cards, either at TRADING SESSIONS or wherever you meet another ATC trader in person.
It is important that you meet other people in person to trade. it is ok to trade by mail or to participate in editions but the main purpose of this performance is the trading session and the personal meeting.

It's not about money: participants in trading sessions and editions should not be charged any money: the point of the project is the exchange of cards as well as personal experience.
One can make single or small editions. On the back of the card is the signature, the date and the number (if the card is part of an edition). all techniques and materials are allowed.

DO I HAVE TO BE AN "ARTIST" TO PARTICIPATE?
No. you don’t have to be an “artist” to participate. Everyone has a unique perception of the world. The idea is to express this perception through the making of the trading cards. But if you prefer you can say you are making non-artist trading cards.

WHAT TYPES OF ART ARE ACCEPTED?
all types of art are accepted, all techniques (paintings, drawings, collages, photographs, rubberstamp works, mixed media, found images, assemblages, etc.). only rule is the size: 64 x 89 mm or 2 ½ x 3 ½ inches.

there is no limit to the number of cards you can make or send us to trade for you.

SPA: Todas estas imágenes son hechas a partir de fotografias digitales. Las personas, objetos y fondos son fotografias tambien. Todo esto es editado en photoshop a manera de collage, integrando cada fotografia, usando filtros y brochas para darle un toque diferente.

ENG: All these images are made using digital photos. The people, objects and backgrounds are photos which were edited in photoshop. They were made like a collage, integrating each photo, and using filters and brushes to give each piece a different touch.

I BROUGHT A DRAGON TO THE CLASS!

This is one of the creations I made for my art class at school. It was on 2000, that means I was 16. I really enjoyed this class better than the other ones, although It wasn't something out of the world. It was because I really enjoy art, plus, I was with my two good friends Angelica and Pahola, drawing, talking and Laghing. What else do you ask for?

It is made on water color paper, water colors and color pencils.

El dibujo del dragon en el atardecer, fue uno de los tantos que hice en mi clase de artes del colegio. Eso fue en el 200, o sea, cuando solo tenia 16 años. La clase de arte era una de mis favoritas, no era nada del otro mundo, pero la disfrutaba mucho puesto que me encanta el arte, y ademas estab junto con mis amigas Angelica y Pahola, pintando, hablando y riendo de la vida.  Que mas se puede pedir???
